Ryan writes a letter to Santa for Presents he wants for Christmas!

A fabulous read for kids not to mention enjoyable for the adults as well. My daughters, aged 7 and 4, were so engrossed in the story that they wouldn't let me put it down until I'd read them the entire story. Dimity has a quirky, engaging writing style and this story is full of action and fun. Highly recommend it for primary aged children.

Your book launch was amazing. And what a great spot to have it — love the Black Cat Books and Cafe — had never been there before. My six year old daughter already started reading your book on the way home in the car and read a couple more pages to me tonight before bed. She loves it too. Just lovely. Great interview, Jackie. Congratulations to Dimity.

What an aweseome feeling to see your book out there! It looks great. Thanks Kaye. Yes it does feel rather spectacular. The best bit of all is knowing that your story is being read by kids…finally. A lovely feeling to cherish. I just wish I had some elf ears to wear.

I hope your second chapter book project pans out and keep writing those picture books too. Hi Jeffery, what a lovely wish to pass on. Thank you.

Boys aged between 7 and 10 years will relate to the themes of mateship and adventure but girls will also find it a gripping read. Confident readers will be enthralled by the seat of your pants pace.
