You can expect the GRE's diploma ceremony to begin no more than minutes after the main ceremony.
Immediately following the diploma ceremony, light refreshments and drinks will be served in the Rotunda, just outside Keating 1st. All graduates and their guests are invited to stay to take photos and enjoy the refreshments. May graduates will have a diploma presented to them on stage.
However, if you applied for graduation after Jan.
Please make SURE that you address is up to date! The GRE does not offer professional photos of graduates receiving their diplomas.
However, please know that your family and friends are welcomed to take as many photos and video recordings as they would like. If you have any remaining questions, please email Asst. Dean Patrick Holt at Holt fordham. We look forward to celebrating your academic achievement with you soon!
The Oulu Business School has been adopting various change models to upgrade their standards every day and this is very commendable, but at the same time I would also like to suggest that the business school help the students connect with the businesses for internships and or on-campus hiring.
It is difficult to even get an internship for international students, so if the university provided students with networking opportunities with companies that hire business students to be specific, it would help us practically implement our learnings and build a career. My request to Finnish Business houses and start-ups: Don't just hire engineers, engineers are good at building products, but business graduates are better at selling those ideas.

If not then we wouldn't be spending our precious years to studying business, we would all be engineers. International universities provide an opportunity for both national and international students to network, share each other's culture, and make this world a global village. This is a huge opportunity for us students. For example I am from Nepal, and I could help you take your business to Nepal even though I may not directly be involved with your business I can help you connect with the right persons and also help you understand the business culture, similarly any other student from another country can help us do the same, if we plan to internationalize our business.
International business schools are all about networking, so let's maximise that purpose. Let us use our differences to the benefit of all.
Finally congratulations once again and wish us good luck with the future ahead. Have a great day.

Save Preview. The percentage of high-school graduates who immediately enrolled in college fell from 69 percent in to 66 percent in For economists and education experts, the answer is obvious. As the Stanford economist Caroline Hoxby and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign economist Jeffrey Brown have famously argued , students were more likely to enroll and stay in college during the Great Recession; at a time when there are fewer jobs, would-be college students are more likely to invest in opportunities to develop skills and enhance their chances at getting employed.
People are drawn back toward the workforce once the economy has started to recover, which is what experts suspect is happening now.
Something very different and quite noteworthy is happening at the K level, though, where traditionally at-risk students, particularly kids of color, are responsible for the biggest improvements in high-school completion. Conversely, disadvantaged students, in this case those who are poor or coming from families without a history of going to college, are a big reason the college-enrollment numbers are going down, as are people over age Based on U.
Census Bureau figures, the percentage of students from low-income families attending college immediately after getting their high-school diplomas has declined by 10 percentage points since , to 46 percent.
